hmmm handheld games can be classified as console. A handheld games subforum would be a waste of resources simply because handhelds are getting obsolete. It's console and Pc gaming that's taking the swing right now. I wonder how many people here on techja even still play handheld games. Probably few.

its not dying greatis. i have a game boy advance. and handheld games could also include cellphone games those are becoming very popular nowadays. i have about 6games on my phone.

however, oss i don't really think we need a handheld games forum. reason being there haven't been much interest in the topic so far. there are problably a few threads yes, but not that many to actually create a form for.

but it ain't up to me, its up to the boys on the 100th floor.

hmmm ok I maybe wrong but think about it. gone are the days when one game handhelds used to make money for you. No more plane games on a handheld without cartridges. Handhelds have now evolved and gotten too expensive compared to getting a console so they lose out to the console. It's as simple as that.

Nope doesn't really work that way. Here in NA you can buy second hand games or trade. The market ain't dying. You can't take consolse games on the road with you, outside of a car or RCV. Plus the companies don't try to make money off the console they make their money off the games.

i still do think there should be portable gaming forum...
so ppl can talk about newly released phone games, GBA, PSP games and such...
well this decision is in the hands of the creator of techja
