Re:Strange IE error message
Does Netscape do this too....that is, the browser tries to open music files or executables in a new session?

Re:Strange IE error message
UPDATE: I've completed several updates to IE so hopefully the problem should be fixed. I'll have to keep an eye on it. This doesn't mean that I've abandoned Mozilla, I'll still continue trying it out.

Chris do you have something against Mozzilla? Have you seen RobyG's report on the browser. Its a far more ajustable browser.

[/quote]I don't know. I haven't used Netscape in a loong while. Netscape is based off of the Mozilla engine so it might. But I would think a lot of users would have complained about that, and that netscape would have modified it.

Re:Strange IE error message
i highly recommend u start using a browser other than ie. let's face it, it is the most bug proned, security leak software M$ ever relesed. Did you know that ie is really a shell? no wonder you can use it to crash machines.
i'm posting this message via opera, the browser that started all the neat features you see other browsers using.
