80GB PS3 MGS4 Bundle selling off

Online its sold out everywhere, and also in the stores in my area. Not looking to buy one of course but I just went to read up on it and noticed this. Evidence that many potential PS3 owners were holding off for this? I see a significant jump in PS3 sales

No doubt it will sell awf. Big exclusives have been known to sell systems. Having MGS4 rated 10 all over the place helps. lol. When GT5 proper comes out, and if they bundle it with the PS3, that will sell awf too.

The thing is, most people wanted the 80GB version, not the 40GB, so they waited. Also it comes with Dualshock 3. I know on nuff forums including Sony forums a good amount say them just waiting for this bundle.

Another thing I notice, the bundle was advertised by big stores last week only, its a no show in ads for this week. Similar to how you don't see Wii hardware advertised cause they kno they goin to be sold out quick.

of course it ago sell off...you getting a real ps3 and msg4...for the first time sony did something I like...last gen they were selling the ps2 way over priced

thats in not possible and yes it would be better. At that i would consider buying but the way i stay i want EVERYTHING. 80gb FTW

Dat wud b a desperate move,tho nuff wuda sell an ppl out dere dat onli hav a 360/wii might be able to also buy a ps3 but sony wuda mek a gr8 loss ....$300 fa a 40gb w/ mgs4, doubt it...cuz the 40gb alone cost $399 dem shud drop d price of the 80gb w/ mgs4 to bout $449 but then agen sales stil increasin cuz demand well high for d 80gb wus it come wid d mgs4

I was just thinking..becuse friday we had 4 80Gb bundle come in and this morning I went in they were all sold and the 40Gb bundle with spiderman is still there for for about 2 weeks

thats cause people wanted the 80GB and not the 40. The 40GB was obviously made for movie watchers and newcomers in the gaming scene, cause most gamers would want the compatibility and stuff. The 80GB is the better buy, and like I said nuff people was holding out waiting for this to hit the shelves
