If you know Bloodshed C++ compiler, you should know that that was written in Delphi.

Years ago I was into VB big time and then switched to Delphi. I preferred it over VB.
I found it to be cleaner, less buggy and easier to deploy my executables.
I have several apps developed in Delphi that are still being used in companies in Kgn.

Although Delphi can be used to develop webapps, a few years ago I switched to Java and have never looked back...lol....since then it has been Java

Delphi is basically Object Pascal....a very good language. My boss uses it. I use C# because at the time I started working, Borland went out of business and it seemed as if Delphi was no longer going to be supported. But now that it seems it will still be supported I think I might delve into it again.

Fools...Delphi is the location of the Oracle of Apollo, who foresaw everything from the fall of Sparta to the defeat of Persia.

Each programming language has it's own merits.....Delphi should have less bloat than C# but at what cost in terms of functionality and features.
