    Yeah what they saying is true you definetly need to use software to free up those 2 gbs but what I know is that system restore also uses up lots of space plus sometimes if a major uninstallation is done that will also eat up your cache so think about those issues along with really good disk cleaning utilities such as Advanced Windows Care V2 Personal.

    Well, from what i can see there a no questionable processes running. Is the space used up as long as you're connected to the net or only when you open firefox browser?

    but it gets worse wid firefox ........... i suspect browser cache but thats not really an issue
