    have you tried deleting some of your system restore points

    heres ur solution that sounds like a nasty virus or worm or smmn cuz u space jus get eated up out of nothing so i would say u need to clean reinstall or get a new hard drive ur choice

    are u serious i run regular scans almost every day an i have 3 antiviruses that do not pic anything up .......... something else is using ma space and its not a worm or crap cache files ..........

    nooone here knows . but id not like to reinstall for it to happen again

    yea thats an option in disck cleaner ........ im almost fed up cause everyday i have to run it wen windows pops up the icon .........
    today i watched no movies and it was at 1gig now its at 200 mb

    did you run an anti-rootkit program ?
    or do a search telling your system to show u files created in the last two days to see what has changed ?

    If all else fails you may have to do some manual work to see where the space is being used...go to the properties of each folder and see where the space is. it may be legitimate programs using up the space. check how much space the program files using.

    nothing works man ......... and i download this app that shows u the space usuage in a pie chart on the drive

    ima see if i can fix the issue or see whats causing it .........i now have time since im on holidays


    ill get back to u all on that


    what i find strange is that im the only one that has this problem . i cant believe that noone else has this problem ........... and ive seen it on various machines tat ive serviced

    the last time i saw an issue similar to that it was a strain of the brontok which duplicates every file on the system and gives it an .exe extension.
