I used this 11-6 promo this morning rather some chick woke me up an talked to me for 30mins then I couldn't go back to sleep so I called with my free minutes too.
Confucious says "he who knows not and knows that he knows not, is a child, teach him"
The new digicel package will work great for teenagers, I wish i had this promotion back when i was in high school, i wouldn't have to be forking out so much money to my mother a month end time. This package makes no sense for working people, unless you work night shift, ohhh wait, the free minutes only kick in when you use your minutes during the day! What crap!
and before u never had that option....now you do....
it's quite simple...if you don't wanna use it then don't ....can't see the problem...really
What ppl want is to get everything free....and looking from a business side....that can't be the best thing......the best thing is giving ppl the best service and value for money....
Digitech...obviously u work at Digicel so are very bias towards them. We have the same problem with Brutos. Now, let's outline the series of events.
1. CWJ come with bundled monthly minutes...great deal for a low cost. Problem is that majority of Jamaicans not going to sit down and calculate how many minutes they use per month and choose a package that's right for them. So CWJ has an uphill battle promoting this package.
2. Digicel responded with free nights and Sunday (for postpaid). Now, this was a response...not just some "give back" to customers marketing crap that ur trying to feed us - this is a response. What most persons in this thread have said is that the response has not been thought out| is weak | is a lackadaisical attempt to make customers feel like Digicel is "giving back".
The fact that the product exists doesn't mean that it has value.
@madald2 - won't work for teenagers either because they are at school most of the day where cellphones are banned therefore won't be able to make many calls EXCEPT for when their on the bus on their way home OR to some extra curricular activity. So if they lucky...they may get half hour in the night. Thinking back to teenage years - half hour is nothing.
The trouble with learning from experience
is that the test comes first and
the lesson afterwards
Digicel is always retarded....ah only duppy stay up dem deh hours of the night...
All of these ads, I have never benefitted from it. Cuz I hardly have people to call at those hours of the night....
I'm a proud C&W customer. And I gladly give them my money because they are taking less than Digicel did when I was with them and even with 1499 unlimited GPRS along with my UltraPak and family and friends, I am still way below the wire when compared to Digicel.
I did start out with Digicel because I thought C&W abused their monopoly (which they did); but that's what monopolies do, they exploit it. I don't like it much as the next guy but it's a hard reality of life. However I am passed that. I'm older and much more conscious of how I spend my hard earned money. It would be irresponsible of me to keep my tool of communication and at the same time overpay when the same tool can be used for less money but the only catch was 10 years ago they overcharged me. Well I rationalize it like this, they overcharged and now they undercharging. So I guess soon enough I'll break even. They also provided me with the opportunity to see my usage and not do a damn thing about it, because with Friends and Family, I literally leave my phone on a call until the battery dies. Yes they see oodles of minutes being burnt every month for $400 and they probably cry that this man is getting away with murder, but hey it's my turn; and I save a bundle too.
It's funny unu claim seh unu no talk to duppy but between those same duppy hours...many "duppies" are signed into TechJamaica. LOL.
