Well, Chris, we're up to 1700 already. Thats 200 people in five weeks or 40 per week! If this continues to increase, the 2000 mark for mid December may hold.

1: 27/6/2002
500: 19/9/2003 - 15months
1000: 9/5/2004 - 7 months
1500: 23/9/2004 - 5 months

Now, depending on the rate of change of the curve (known only as more data enters the sample) the next figure could be less or more than the last. However, if we look at the decreasing value of time/people and correlate and project (some big words, eh?) we can see that it should be roughly 3 months before the next milestone.

It's going to be close, I think it's more like early/mid January for the 2000 target. What is more important though is how to get more of the existing members posting

Thought about that but that would only promote useless posts to make up the minimum requirement.
