Is there already a password on the Administrator account which can be accessed through 'Safemode with networking'?

go to Run-gpedit.msc-there are a whole list of options there where administrative privileges are concerned

Why would you want to prevent a user from locking thier workstation PC temporarily) anyway? At UTECH, They seem to be using a combination of Windows 2000, and XP to alter the group policiaes effectively.

I know that at schools.. you dont really want to have... student lock the machine... and leave .. making unaccessable to other students without admin intervention

Hard Reset always works for a 'locked" machine.

Here is the Group policy key to change though. (Gpedit.msc typed in Run Box)

    User Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Ctrl+Alt+Delete Options.

There is a key that says "Remove Lock Computer". Enable that as a policy for the domain and that should work.
