Nuh minunderstand inuh, I don't give them ratings because of their service, I give them ratings because of their fighting nature. They are staying in the market and putting up the resistance to flow. It'll make things better for you guys. Me, I don't use cw, I live in country (no landline) I went out and bought myself a miphone today, and judging by how many people are now craving for them in my area alone, I think their service will soon be overtaxed.

good move by c&w I think they know they can't compete with Flow on bandwidth for now! But I don't think this would last very long either trust me I have a lot of none techie friends that become very bandwidth hungry when their movie trailers take long to load or when their web browsing slows down because there are a few people in the house sucking up the little 1Mb/s pipe or when their audio and video files take an hour or 3 hour to download. Especially when I tell them it takes me 3 minutes to download an anime and about 15 to get a 700Mb video file on my Flow connection.

You're right. That would definately make things harder for Flow to convince people.
Yes - cause no matter what you people may think or feel, the fact remains that CWJ has 80% of the data market in Jamaica...Check the statistics.

If you really work outside your circle then check with your parents friend, your own friends who don't know the difference between kB and MB. Friends who call u when they have trouble downloading the attachment with the .exe on it cause the AVG u installed keep blocking it...talk to these people. If they are local to have a stable 1Mb connection from CWJ then when Flow come with 6Mb they are going to ask the question "Why switch?"

*Their current cable company offers them everything they want for $1500-2000.
*Their 1Mb Internet is allowing them to watch YouTube/Hi5/Myspace videos with a 20sec buffer.
*Their Prepaid Homefone OR cellphone is all they need.

If it wasn't for the "I have more than you mentality" alot more of these people wouldn't be switching. And these people are in the majority.

If C&WJ really want to keep people, they would fix their customer service AND keep their Internet stable.

Flow's battle against C&WJ is FAR from a bandwidth fight. Cause Jamaica has a culture. This culture depicts that so-so service is acceptable by the majority. So why bother with the hassle of switching?

I'm not an advocate for C&WJ, if Flow was in my area - i would have it - I'm a techie...i want as much bandwidth as i can get, even just for the fact to say I have more than you.

Flow is taking too long to roll out - C&WJ will cover their grounds and maintain a good hold on their marketshare because of this slow roll out.

I've made these statements already in another thread...and to this day I still here customers saying to me
Customer: "I heard about Flow but what them offering?
Me: "Well, them have a faster connection and they have Digital Cable and Phone service too. But they are not in your area"
Customer: "Well, help me sign up for CWJ cause i can't wait."

And once this guy has C&WJ - him not going to switch so easily.

Yes the 1mb plan will replace the 256k base plan and it will on a new stable system hence the wait for this delivery.

How much longer do we have to wait before C&W implements this 'new stable system'?
What was the purpose of the upgrade that was done earlier this year?

If Mos is asking us now that would also mean that the system upgrade is basically complete and the new "stable" system is probably up and running for some persons. We can also speculate that it would be implemented for the new school term.

To add to Electro's question, do persons have to call and request it - as C&WJ loves to do with EVERYTHING GOOD they implement.

Additionally - what are the other packages and how are the prices looking
