    got one through a instant msg at the office
    well, um............ a file that was sent through the IM
    that was about lastweek
    Back to square one....., back off the ground now........

    Same here. Been using it on 2 desktops and 2 laptops for over 4 years without getting infected. Maybe I need to visit porn sites to test it? But it must be doing something right if Bubba is using it altho he preaching against it.

    a few days ago.
    Virus that deleted some core windows files. Format with fresh copy of Windows solved the problem.

    AVG all the way. It has never failed me nor gave me a reason to try another. AVG along with Zonealarm. Yes A_A I finally installed that zone alarm you posted about and got my free 365 day subscription. Runs like a charm.

    I think AVG is really great.
    However, a lot of people say it slows down their pc and causes their pc to freeze etc. soooo.....

    The last (and only) virus that ever invaded a system that I used was the Happy 99 virus. And yes, that was back in January 1999, otherwise there would have been no reason to open the attachment.
