Cool... Good to know. Also what are your temps like at idle and load? If it's significantly better than what I'm getting from my Zalman I may get one next year.

    Default Introducing Carbide

Build Completed areound 2 weeks now. Just getting opportunity to post proper set of pics.

    SPECS
Case: Corsair 500r (So happy I'm getting this case )
Motherboard: Asus P8 Z77-V (Won this on Motherboards.org so awesome )
    Proc: i7 3570k
Memory: 16GB Patriot IEM 2133mhz (wanted to get blue vengeance 1600 but these were on sale)
SSD: Corsair Force Series 3, 60GB
HD 1: 1 250GB Caviar Blue 7200rpm (from current build)
HD 2: 1TB Caviar Green (from current build)
ODD: LiteOn DVD Burner with Lightscribe (from current build)
    PSU: Corsair TX650M 650 watt
    GPU: EVGA GTX560 DS SSC
    Cooler: Zalman CNPS9900 Max- Blue

    Other stuff
Cables: Rosewill 19.7 rounded sata cables for light modding.
    Thermal Paste: Arctic Silver 5

    Modding Plans
I plan to remove the mesh window and replace it with a clear windo, but, i want to do it in a way in which I can interchange windows, because where I'm from is always hot (Jamaica) so constant airflow is a must. I plan to only use the side window mod when I'm showing off the rig .

So here it is. I know its been a long time. I completed the build two weeks ago but work has been keeping me too busy. I must say I am all smiles... it's a totally sexy machine.

I tried my best taking photos while putting it together at the same time, which got a bit distracting because at one point I had to remove the entire motherboard from the case as I had forgotten to install the wif-Go card, but these photos I will treasure forever

    Here goes...

EVGA GTX560 DS SSC (Super, Super Clocked)

Power for the Beast: Corsair TX650M
I'm impressed, for a PSU it looks really good, especially in my 500r and it contrasts flawlessly with the black along with the yellow stripe on my GTX 560 DS SSC

Patriot IEM Limited Edition 4x4GB 2133. I got these on sale as they cost me just US$4 more than the Vengeance 1600 - 2133 for $4 more was too much of a deal to pass up.

ASUS P8Z77 - V. Thanks again to the motherboards.org team for choosing me the winner for this fully loaded baby, it's exactly what I needed for my build. I'm surprised people are calling it entry level.

Zalman CNPS 9900MAX-B: The sexiest cooler ever (in my oppinion). So far I'm getting between 34C-40C idle and full load with Prime 95 I get 68C. This is very good temps in the tropics.

    So sexy...

Face-Palm: I totally forgot to install the wifi go card. Had to remove the motherboard entirely to install it.

I had to remove this clip in order for the SSD to fit properly.

    nice build bro

So far I idle as low as 24C sometimes lower depending on how cold the place is... highest during normal usage is somewhere about 55-65C (overclocked to 4.4ghz on stock voltage) haven't paid much attention.

Will get you more accurate information on temps soon.

Hope you can sort out the back end cable management in a nice way to making moving cables around easier.

Here is where i bought my corsair cables

Nice EyeCandy for the thread toocoded...i considering the 3770k for my next build too but seeing that i mainly game (little editing too) the 3570k or 2500k (if found very cheap)...the i5s should give me more bang for buck gaming performance
