You can play using Vader from the start. You have to unlock the Apprentice and some other characters though.

The Apprentice has some nasty force powers which he doesn't hesitate to blaze you up with.

How is the gameplay with Yoda? I am hoping they allow for downloadable content so that Vader and Yoda can be in the same game.

My friend says Yoda theif as an opponent. While standing...he cannot be hit by Horizontal strikes AND he cannot be grab (unless u using somebody who can low grab).
He moves very fast and flicks all over the stage.

Ok, Soul Calibur 4 sell awf. I finally went online with it. I won a few games, and lost a few. Now it's all about creating custom characters. This is where the fun starts. The potential is there to do some crazy things with that.

On YouTube, I've seen:

Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden) vs. Raiden (Metal Gear Solid 2)

It's sick.

I've seen mods for Dr. Doom, The Goblin, The Joker, Hulk, Dante, Cloud, Naruto ... You name it, it can be made.

I made one too - Raven from Tekken 5. Beat some people online with it too.

SC3 wasn't as good as SC2, so i am hoping that they bring the heat with SC4. I'm looking forward to the improvements they make on Maxi.

I watch some of the vids and its appears that all you need to do is press button fast and sidestep. not much in terms of technique. combo combo combo

The game controls are tight but it also gives a novice the chance to do somehting spectacular but still experience will win out...played this game at the game place, mandeville on caledonia road

downloaded the demo off xbox live. only got two playable characters cassandra and knightmare. cassandra felt heavier than all the other soul calibers but knightmare felt light and great. i need to play the full game!!!

played this using yoda...to play againt him as an opponent is not nice...he's short so u can't grab him and horizotal strikes not recommended...but the apprentice tief no hell...he gives u no chance once he catches u with an attack...yoda a di boss though...yeah u need to play the whole game...

He was using Sigfried, and I was using a custom character based on Taki. He beat me more than once. Now he's bragging about it!
