    4 GIG Maxtor HDD
    3.5" Floppy Drive.
    32X CD Rom Drive
    15" CRT Monitor
    OS Win 95 ->Win 98->Win Me->Win 2K.

    LOLERS, u poor fellas:

    I had an IBM compatible 8086 PC.
    640K ram
    PC speaker.
    5 1/4 Floppy
    20 MB Hard drive
    CGA 4 colour monitor
    IBM tough like cement block indestructo keyboard with no mouse.

    amd something 800mhz
    32mb onboard video
    20 gig hd
    128mb memory
    samsung 15 inch monitor
    windows xp

    used something worst than that at work.

    My first PC was a 486 DX2 66MHz with 8Mb RAM, a 80Mb HD, 2X CD-ROM drive,
    16bit sound card and 14400 bps modem. Modem and Soundcard were on one card. Oh, and there was my Samsung SyncMaster 3NE 14 inch monitor and my cheap unpowered speakers.

    Ah nostalgia.

    Yeah when i got that system i was using something worse man every minute it pop dung.
    Even were i am at now i just a few mths ago got something better than that specs.

    I was waiting for the number of posts on this thread to increase to drop the ultimate first PC but when I see posts like Core 2 Duo's and Intel Pentiums mentioned I realise its a joke ting unno deh pon. Anyway rugrats here are my specs

    Model: Commodore 64
    Processor: MOS Technology 6510 @ 1.02 MHz
    Memory: should I even say it since thats the point of the model number... 64KB
    Hard Drive: None (we used 5 1/4 floppies with this beast)

    Where do I go to collect my prize

    Serial Mouse (logitech, really loved it)
    Win95
    8X CD ROM (still have it)
    Diamond Sound Card
    14.4 USRobotics Sportster Modem
    14 inch Monitor (Still alive, my sister has it)

    remember installing win 95, office, nascar racing, Street fighter and duke nukem and haffi juggle teh 50 MB left, lol

    paid ~ 65K for it in 1996 from Unitec, they used to work out of teh UGI building ...

    tought me most teh ish i know bout 'puters, prolly teh reason im in IT now.

    Dang Psilos u tief mi pc ...... on a serious note I wonder how many people in here ever seen a real Floppy?
