    Default Satellite Service in Jamaica

I'm considering switching to satellite because it's cheaper than cable per month.

Who offers good service in Kingston? Is it really cheaper per month in Jamaica?

do a search on techja - there are many posts on FTA already. But basically you will need a FTA (Free-to-Air) receiver. Try to stick with the known brands because the BINs are easier to find. IE: Viewsat, Coolsat, Pansat etc...

How much does dishnetwork and dircttv cost out here? With these channels can I get the channels I actually want or am I stuck with a prearranged package as in the case of cable?
