thats your problem right there, you need to stop listen to people and do things for yourself.

Just like Linux, Vista is not for everybody. I'm sure M$ had already anticipated this. No one forced you to upgrade in the first place. 3 of the problems you listed above, have been solved by Windows updates. I'm sure M$, will never create a service pack 2 for this purpose (plausible deniability). I'll admit that there is a steep learning curve required for using Vista, but just like all new operating systems there will always be bugs.

Lets not shoot down an OS, when it fails to meet your expectations.

at least someone agree with me

I don't only go based on hearsay my brother, I have worked on many a vista computer. I hate using it completely, anytime the people them with the vista computer dem call me, I don't answer my phone...

But be realistic now, if you hear everyone saying that they bought a phone from megafone, and it give them pure trouble all since them have (and have it couple months well to) WOULD YOU IN TURN GO OUT AND BUY A MEGAFONE JUST SO YOU CAN EXPERIENCE THE TROUBLE FOR YOURSELF????

Everyone on here who has any sense know that if they're gonna buy a piece of hardware, CHECK THE REVIEWS FIRST!!!! Isn't that stuff that people say? And based on what the people are saying can it not affect your decision on purchasing a particular piece of hardware???

All i'm saying is, what other people say about a product does matter to me if i'm gonna spend my money on it.

I am trying to contribute towards this thread...however it is becoming extremely difficult to follow some of these conversations...

Anyway, first point...I think you should answer those calls, it is money you are running away from...

Now for the business side, can you say what is the problem your customers are having with the product? If you are more specific, then maybe there is a way to help, instead of just being general about everything Vista...

I'm happy to hear you say this. Unfortunately, some of these (in my opinion) keep ignoring this crucial factor. It really doesnt matter if your hardware is basically brand new. Even NVIDIA, keeps messing up trying to write drivers for thier so called 'Vista compatible' hardware.

BOOOOOOOOOO... doa buss no more stale jokes like dat in here zn?

Windows is the major OS available now, so why wud a hacker want to build viruses for the OS which less users have... If linux was to be the more popular one.. it wud be easier to take it down with a virus since the stuff (Kernel? Not a big linux fan... dunno the actual terms) in it can be edited by the user so easily... i guess the stuff being edited by a virus wont be much of a challenge?

Actually, if you check the security threads you will see that Linux had come under attack recently by adbots and are becoming "zombies" for SPAM servers...but thats another topic.

And its true you check reviews, talk to people (tech people) and see what them say about it. I only hope the person you talk to will give you both side of the stories and not just bash vista.

Its the same with ANY new technology, tech or not, manufactures cant make it perfect...wait i take it back...manufactures dont want there bottom line to fall through because a product is in beta testing for X months, years. now please don't bring anything name Google into this (Google has several beta programs that have bin ongoing for years). Google making there money else ware so dont watch there beta apps.
