" Microsoft mek all windows...so i dont get your question... anyway I am talking about windows 2003/2000, I am currently working in a Windows 2000 and 2003 enviro, currently there primary Domain controller has not gone down for 2 years, the only time it did go down was due to hardware failure, try blame that on teh OS. I also maintain a Citrix farm which is installed on top of win2000 and 2003, the only reason these systems go down is due to hardware failure (custom made system, soon to be replaced by DELL blade servers)

if formatting a DC is your solution to your "windows problem" then you really need to take the time to learn the systems you working with. as it is...should be with any IT product you intend to use and support.
