Just A Query Re I.T. Jobs

Hi there ppl,

I'm currently a computer teacher (prep. school level) and I'm seriously thinking about switching careers mainly because I don't mind myself being challenged enough (and the pay & "benefits" suck too)...

I have a Computer Diploma from UTECH and will be starting a web page design course soon (I look forward to learning all about that).

I would just like to know if anyone knows of any good websites that I can view job listings re I.T. jobs in Jamaica (and put myself out of the rut that I'm in).

Sorry yogi_jm, I suspect that you won't find many (if any) local websites with good IT job vacancies. This is one of the reasons why this very Tech Careers Forum was established. Of course if anyone else here knows of such a website, please let us know

I remember that site.

My view is that you cannot sustain a site re: job opportunities if they are few job opportunities.

I remember going to careersjamaica.com and seeing just one or two new vacancies being posted per month.

There is no way it could have survived unless it was a labour of love.
