    Default Can I get high speed internet using my satellite dish?

    Can anyone help me, please. IM gonna get a Sattelite dish in the next two weeks and im thinking of getting high speed net via the dish and anyone help me interms of recommending businesses that offer these kinda modems and speeds and also monthly payment. Its finally time to move from my GPRS modem.


    THATS IF THOSE SERVICES ARE OFFERED IN JAMAICA

    Summary: 200k downlink + 40k uplink = $1000 per month or say 100k downlink + 20k uplink = $500 per month - * those prices are US.

    look at these prices i saw on the net. Are these real. If yes then my dreams of high speed net is over.

    I NEVER SEE NUHBADY ELSE DO IT IN JA BUT THERE WAS THIS 1 TIME ..........

    i heard rumors about this, but not sure if its true, they say its fast you can get up to a gig = 1000 gbps, still dont know if it real

    its is said that

    But bUBBA me a hear 300 us price range for equipment. WTF, im dying to get that kinda cash, i aint gonna spend that on just a modem.

    the dude that i knew who did it got it free he spent money buying the equipment from sites and set it up

    yup- i've seen it, but one draw back, when the sky is blue streaming video, when there's a cloud cover, dialup would be parallel in speed, there was this company in cambridge - st james with direcway, but they moved out,it was 700kbit plus down
