Pc= Hp dv6t
i think just wait a few weeks, and the 3rd party manufacturers will be developing their own batteries and some technicians will find a work-around battery solution. most ppl wont pay Apple for a new battery, plus the shipping, plus the rental fee for a loaner iPhone.
When the big man wah tek u money, dem tek it. The battery a jus fi dem loophole fi mek more money.

Apple has got to be joking with these prices. Doesn't make sense paying $80 for a replacement battery after you just shelled out almost $600 for the phone. I will definitely be sticking to my Nokia e61i, luv it and the battery is way cheaper

Why is this so such a surprise for everyone, clearly you all aren't aware of the Apple's prices for iPod battery replacement. The iPod battery is also non-user replaceable and it seems that people have forgotten that the iPhone is still a iPod at heart.http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/service/battery/Apple will replace your iPod for a service fee of $59, plus $6.95 shipping

It is a rip off! I could buy 15 replacements for my phone for the price of one iPhone battery.
Guess thats what hype does to people. Buy phone and dont remember to ask bout battery. Learnt my lesson from the Moto C333. Neva again.
