Someone list the positives and negatives, and then I'll vote.

I can't argue with that point blaze, but linux can be infected, it just won't be affected dew to the design to the kernel

To mess up a Linux box, you need to work at it; to mess up your Windows box, you just need to work on it.

    Windows Linux
    ==================================
    Virus Prone| No none virus
    Regular crashes|minimal crashes
    More appz| free appz
    closed source| open source
    Need more hardware| minimal hardware

This is neither here nor there. You can't make a statement like that and don't back it up. Validate your statement.

EDIT: Oh, you added something while i was typing. OK.

Price -> which do you choose?
Resources utilization-> which would you choose?

web dev -> open source /php/apache/mysql

If you can prove to me that my points is wrong i'll accept until then i keep my statement. Ask Richard Stallman or Linus Torvalds i'm sure they will back my point

no matter what my friend my answer is always linux

if it for a simple task its linux, difficult linux, everything linux. If it can't be done on linux it ain't worth doing

most render farms, web servers and supercomputers trust linux for it's stability, efficiency, and uptime for there most complex and import tasks.

    Media houses trust linux
    render farms trust linux
    data centers trust linux
    supercomputer users trust linux
    mainframes trust linux
    weather forecasters trust linux
    I trust linux

Good doc to read if not convinced that linux is a better os, even if windows as a little plus

Still not convinced, reading a document can't convince me either, but to each his own. One day i'll install a linux release and assess it thoroughly.

There are so many programs that just aren't made for LINUX. I live on messenger and i can't live without it im yet to find messenger that works on LINUX (CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG) Plus the LINUX i had (LINUX XP DESKTOP EDITION 2006 IT WAS MADE BY RED HAT I THINK) takes a year to start....I don't know maybe im just a WINDOWS guy but straight forward WINDOWS is more user friendly........
