    Default Windows 2000 and Hard Drive size.

    You install a Nice big 400 GB IDE Hard disk in an old spare Windows 2000 Server for users to play around in.

    Disk Manager reports size as 132 GB...

    What do you do?

    For +25 L33t

    IT WILL NOT WORK ..so give me the 400g hdd

    Windows 2000 requires the following registry edits:

    try dat
    1. Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
    2. Locate and then click the following key in the registry:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Atapi\Parameters
    3. On the Edit menu, click Add Value, and then add the following registry value:
    Value name: EnableBigLba
    Data type: REG_DWORD
    Value data: 0x1
    4. Quit Registry Editor.
