Thread: running .NET apps in browser?

    that link says it all. Welcome to WFP/E. I have dreamt of a day when we can run our c# application through firefox much like java does. it would be so much better than java cuz i hate the memory holes that java programs produces.

    but i'm still unsure what it is, hoping u guys could figure it out

    WPF/E aka “Silverlight” is Microsoft’s answer to Flash. The technology is based around the XAML presentation layer of WPF in Vista. From what little I've read on the subject it will indeed use bits and pieces of the .NET Framework but not everything.
