    Wireless Web Plans

    Wireless Web Plans Starter 1 5 15
    Monthly Charge $0 $250 $1,110 $4,000
    Included MB 0 1 5 15
    Additional MB 400 200 300 150

Note: In terms of usage, 1 MB (Megabyte) is equivalent to approximately 20
web pages, or 100 emails without attachments, or 10 emails with a one page
attachment, or one email with a PowerPoint presentation attached. Files
sizes will vary depending on content transmitted

Now 250JA for ONE MB on postpaid when its 270JA for unlimited usage on prepaid......

plus say i were to use a prepaid phone ONLY for internet access wouldnt it be ALOT cheaper than dial up plus it wouldnt tie up my home line...hmmm

theres the link for the rates i posted above.

It doesnt work out better, it works out WAYYYYYYYYY better ;D

hmm......i also notice that c&w gprs is pretty stable and stuff...i cant even think about trying to browse wap pages on my phone on digicel during peak times..i never get on..it always says server busy, try again..

imagine my surpose when my friend with C&W was browsing wap and his pages were coming up like nothing at all.

i was also wondering how web browsing on my computer using my mobile phone would be during peak times, frequent disconnections? Slow speed?

Also will it ever be possible to browse at speeds above regular dial up speeds? like the fact that it always says 115, will that speed ever be possible?

I can't believe you guys getting GPRS on prepaid in JA. I'm stuck with a Sagem X6 Camera phone from AT&T Wireless can guess what..because I'm on prepaid, I can't get any GPRS service >

I think that the local C&W Grenada offers GPRS on one of the prepaid plans...I was thinking off unlocking the AT&T to work on C&W but C&W hasn't deployed the 1900Mhz network yet. They only using 850Mhz for now

So C&W switched it around in the other islands...hmmm.

In Jamaica, Cayman & Barbados they started with 1900Mhz and adding the 850Mhz bands....

Well I am pretty sure GPRS & MMS will eventually be available on C&W on prepaid, not sure about Digicel or At&t tho.
