Re:NOVA
Actually, i found the online experince to be very very....interesting i was very surprised. We have this tool caled placeware that mimics a real lecture room....you watch the lectures slides and lsite while he talks.... you have a layout with who is "sitting" where in the class and you can ask them questions. It is real fun....As i said yesterday the classes are not easy and coursework challenging! By the way not all classes you placeware..some simple use email or forums like these.....I researched many many.... universties when i was looking (there was one willing even to give me credit for my MCSA at the time ) It is not easy to get in also. I had to write a 500 page eassy (goals, plans etc...yada.yada.yada).. an 3 reccomendations....2 professional and 1 academic, they will take 3 professional)
Why i chose nova...
Know entity in JA...registered weith University Council (This is improtant)
Time -- if you have money you can complete in 1 Year ( 3 course for 4 terms)
Felxibiltiy - You can chose when in the year you want to start...
Cost - It is relatively inexpensive (1425 per course, you need to do 12 (3) credit courses)
You can easily switch between online and on-campus (so universties penalize for that ???)
It covered what i was looking for a MIS (an understanding the impact of technology upon the business) I was not lookig to do anymore programming... .
I really feel like i have got my moneys worth at NOVA.... and i have maintanied a 3.8 (something i NEVER did at UWI )
