Exclamation "Failed to connect to internet" from Opera Mini

I have Opera mini 3.1 on a V3, every time i do the network setup it returns the 'failed to connect to internet' error message. This connection problem happens with other java applications as well such as mig33 plus and eMSN. Strange thing is that the default browser works fine.

I am using the bmobile wap service. Any suggestions?

Since the default browser works your settings are clearly ok. You need to go to your Java settings and tell it which internet profile to use then you should be ok.

Java settings on the V3 are limited, can't change anything relevant.

The Web session profile for bmobile is set to be the default?

    You can also try this
the secret trick is that you have to use the "Java Session" entry in Web Sessions. It does not work if you create a new entry and make it default. You must use the "Java Session" entry (but it doesn't matter if it's default or not --- the default is used by the phone's web browser and stuff, not by java applets.)

It doesn't appear to be working for me, psilos. Thanks for the assistance nonetheless. So Gateway IP 1 remains 10.20.5.34?
