    Because a mesh topology is where each network node has a connection to each of the other network nodes. In this case, we are talking about the internet backbone.

    I too picked Mesh. A Mesh is similar to a spider web in that there are many routes to each notwork node.

    Explanation: A Mesh topology is more of a logical topology of many many nodes all connected in one way or another to everyone else. The internet is MOST CERTAINLY that!
