    I think this is an unfair question..........

    Port 110 is used by POP3 clients and Port 25 is used by the SMTP.

    Both can be used and configured to receive email.

    Well since you say her friends then I am gonna go with Port 110. A is my final answer.

    SMTP - Used to reliably send and receive mail over the Internet and uses port 25

    POP3 - Post Office Protocol. A POP3 mail server holds mail until the workstation is ready to receive it and uses port 110

    Answer: B - 25

    Port 25 (SMTP) is used for out going mails.

    It's not an unfair question Nas. If you look at it closely you'll notice that the question is dealing with the client side of mail sending and not the server side. SMTP (port 25) is mainly used for the sending of mails.
