Question Unable to open ASP.net projects

I am unable to open any of my ASP.Net projects in my VS .Net 2003. Have anyone had this problem before? I have search the net and none of the solutions I try works for me.

I have reinstall the IIS, run aspnet_regiis -i/-u, register aspnet_isapi.dll, reinstalling VS .Net 2003, check the security on the folders.

FYI: I also have VS 2005 installed. it is in a separate folder from VS 2003.

I don't know if this can be conflicting with 2003.

I want to leave wiping my machine as a last resort. any suggestions please...

What version were they created in and what exactly happens when you try to open the projects?

They are VS .Net 2003 projects and when I try to open the project, it gives me this error message saying "The web server reported the following error when attempting to create or open the Web project located at the location following URL: 'http://localhost/PA_WEB'. ' A connection with the server could not be established'.

What about converting your projects to VS2005 and then modify them there.

@keroed1, Yes this solution fixed my problem

@icymint3, that could not be an option for me, cause I have too much things on. And i did not have time for that which would also be hectic.
