Again, please be mindful of what you do peeps.

The reason I was suspicious initially has arisen. Caledonia Offshore has been offering jobs to people for years and for years I have seen people paying Application Fees, sometimes upwards of $10,000 with no returns.

It seems that they are at it again as the United States & Canadian Embassy and the Ministry of Local Government has be receiving LARGE AMOUNTS of complaints of persons who have paid application fees with no responses.

I do ask that you excercise caution in what you do.

Do not put you basket where you cannot reach it.

    It's phony
Canadian official warns of fake company

BY ARLENE MARTIN-WILKINS Observer staff reporter
    Monday, June 14, 2004

THE Canadian High Commission and the labour ministry are warning Jamaicans looking for jobs overseas to be wary of a phony company that is promising lucrative jobs on offshore oil projects, luring its victims with salaries of up to J$23,000 per day.

Officials did not say how many Jamaicans have already been fleeced, or by how much. But with some locals having been fooled into sending off the more than $11,000 processing fee, the sums involved appear substantial.
According to the High Commission it has, since January, received several complaints and enquiries about Caledonian Offshore Ltd.

Thumbs up Re: $75000-Over $100000 per Month

Dats d million dolla question, but it seem like unnu nuh tek makaveli word for nutn, if im seh im pops been working wid dem fi 14 years, plus im got a cuzn, dats supposed 2 good enuff.

Anyway, mi nah fight a man battle fi im, my input is regarding everybody making a big ting outta the pay. It seems like a lot to us, but for a US based company, it aint that much. A lot o the openings pay less than 1600/month, which works out to $10/hr for a 40 hour week. $10/hr is not exacly exec level pay still. Bear in mind seh dem nuh mention nutn bout tax & as we as Jamaicans all know, there is always tax. For a Jamaican working overseas though, the good thing is that you can reclaim your tax. I think the amount you get back depends on how much u made in the 1st place, coz they got tax brackets.

But I have d solution 2 d problem, sen Makaveli den mek im tell wi how it go.
