Applications are invited for the position of CLERK A (Grade 3) in the Mortgage Administration Department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Supervisor – Securities, the successful candidate will be required to:
Create security files for new loans;
Prepare cover letters with additions to and deletions from peril insurance portfolio, as well as, status letters, statement of account and seal requests;
Process policy encashment requests;
Dispatch Duplicate Certificate of Title and other security documents to attorneys and third party clients;
Prepare new mortgage advance and related correspondences for new accounts;
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Six (6) subjects at the GCE (Ordinary) or CXC (General Proficiency) level, including English Language and Mathematics.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCE:
Knowledge of computer software applications including word processing and spreadsheet packages.
Ability to communicate effectively both in oral and written forms
