the Network DDE provides network transport and security for Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) for programs running on the same computer. If this service is stopped, DDE transport and security will be unavailable.

Dynamic Data Exchange.
Have you ever created a shared folder on your computer? If so great. What you have done essentially is create a live point where persons can get information from your or put information in. Sort like a information exchange. A live Data Exchange
. Hence, Dynamic Data Exchange.
Network DDE can be seen then as providing the Transport & Security (to ensure validity etc...) of the information exchange.
If you want to see what happens behind the scenes when you create a share folder: Go start, click run and type ddeshare.
When you run that file, you should see the application that actually does the controlling of your shared resources.
You may also use this application to control the shared resources on you machine and network.

nice results people.
Answer: C - Dynamic Data Exchange
It allows an application to create a share that another application can come into the computer hosting the process share and uses the share as well and transfer data.
