    Default GSM Compatible phones

Heres the thing, I want to purchase one of those cool flip phones in the States. The thing is I know that they have to be compatible with our GSM network in Jamaica.

Does anyone know the model # or any flip phone that would work here if purchased in the States?

If I am not mistaken, all T-Mobile phones are compatible with Digicel's network, just have to get the phone unlocked.

the thing to remember is the bands that the two companies use. Digicel uses 900/1800 bandwidths and CW uses 850/1900 bandwidths.

Remember also that Oceanic Digital uses CDMA technology so basically you need to choose a phone based on which network you want to use.

Yes..All T-mobile phones work with Digicel and if you get the S300 get the S300M which is the same as the the S300 but it has MMS..

Me personally, i am waiting on the sony ericsson k700...
