2.6.9-ck2, claims to be desktop optimized and to be honest there is a slight (well, the context menu in OO doesnt take forever to open) improvement, but its just barely noticeable. What was interesting is that on three separate occasions my system slowed down to a crawl for about 1 minute and even though it took forever to popout of the corner ksim told me that i had 12 megs free in my swap and 4 in real ram. After about a minute all was back to normal, it wasnt until the third time that it happened i realised that juk was gone, there was no error msg at all, just dissapeared. any one else running Con Kolivas's kernel?
have been runnin this kernel for about 35 hours, aside from the aforementioned glitch all seems well, gonna reboot and go back to 2.6.7
