from cyber atlas - UK, U.S. IT Pros Top The Salary Charts

The United Kingdom and the United States are the most lucrative regions for IT professionals, according to the 2003 Information Technology Toolbox, Inc. (ITtoolbox) Salary Survey, which indicates that the two countries have the highest industry pay scales. I'm from Moscow, Russia.
For writing such things like CMS, data processing systems, site front/backends (for ~30'000 visitors/day resources),etc. maximum U'll get is ~$900/month. But nobody asks for diplomas or certificates...

But, the most annoying, that we have only 2 months of summer here :-\

to maintain relevance to Jamaican scenario, cause US figures are mostly irellevant here..

speaking from my and others experience in Jamaica.

$600,000 to $750,000 if yu just leave college (UWI, Utech) and a work with a reputable company.. bank, goverment etc

$800,000 to $1.2 mil if yu have bout 2 to three years experience inna the field from working inna reputable company

$1.5 Million if yu a senior man > 5 years experience working in a rep company.. Red Stripe , Digicel, Cablewireless, Bank etc...

$2 Million if yu qualification dem heaavy (Masters , or yu move yu way up inna the company 8 years > experience..,

    > $2 million yu a part a the management structure and yu and HR can Negotiate yu salary

if yu work fi a private company , then is a touch and go.. generally dem want pay yu as little as possible.. so yu will work fi $700,000 even with donkey years worth of experience
