ISP Manager/Network Administrator
Anbell seeks to fill the following position:
ISP Manager/Network Administrator
Job Description:
Responsible operation of the ISP and Internal network infrastructure, the management of key partner, vendor, and customer relationships, lead a talented team that creates, supports and maintains all operational aspects of the ISP’s 7/24 services including but not be limited to administrations of network services (DNS, proxies, routers, e-mail, etc.),security and the design and architecture. The position requires proven experience in Linux system administration, internetworking protocols and a strong LAN and WAN background. Experience with Cisco switches and routers is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the day-to-day operation of the ISP.
2. Perform capacity planning for future network expansions
3. Oversee the management of the internal servers, networks and desktops
4.Build and manage VPN’s
5. Create and enforce a 24x7-monitoring schedule
6. Manage the relationship with vendors, suppliers, and customers and report to CEO on operational issues and proactively report potential problems.
Requirements:
Previous ISP experience, Degree in Networking or related field, and a minimum of 3 years experience and demonstrated detailed knowledge of LAN/WAN topologies, components and protocols, VPN, UNIX, Linux, Cisco routers, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, STMP, ATM, and HTML. The successful candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding customer service experience, ability to handle multiple projects at one time

Who tha hell fill these positions,jamaicans ? the post has RHCE certification written over it.and buy the way how much can anbell pay for this post it looks like at least 1.2 million per year

Yow the highest paid IT professionals in government get 1.65 million a year and unlike in the Us, private IT companies in jamaica dont pay much ,the directors tend to rip off talented college graduates.so if u know anywhere paying decent money expose them because in JA its a rarity by the way

They're still looking for a network administrator. As for the salary - I really don't know.

As always hiring managers but out several additional desired skills along with the core requirements......I am sure there are several skilled guys right here in TechJamaica you could fill this position....After all we set up proxies firewalls vpn and configure routers for fun regularily so let gets paid for it nuh.....
