    Angry Need GTA Assistance!

My bloody GTA San Andreas refuses to start/play. It keeps crashing! It crashes just before it goes to the primary menu that comes after the intro and such. When I got the game in last year it was giving a similar problem where it crashed but it crashed just as you excute the .exe, it doesnt even it didnt even get a chance to go full screen. I corrected the problem very easily by just going into the exe file's properties and change the compatibility to 2000 and it work(not flawlessly though). But now I reinstalled it after getting tired of the other games on the PC and I decided to install with the music support and now it crashed and I cant correct the peoblem. I'm wondering if its becaus of the type of installation that I used. Maybe its that it needs the tracks to be installed on the PC, maybe its incapable of reading form the disc. Aaahhh, someone make some suggestions

Have you tried this on another machine?
Have you installed any new hardware/drivers since lately?

I already have a NO CD remedy, it came on the disc. The game works fine on all my friends' PCs, and any that crashed was solved by simply adjusting it to work in compatibility with Win2000 and thats the same I did with my first installation. I will try and install it again soon and this time I'll do a full installation and see if that helps. I blame this healf breed crap *** PC for all these troubles.

Do you have Windows Blinds installed. That windows theme program is known to crash games. Trying disabling any windows skins, theme or mod and see if that helps.

Coincientelly I do have Window blinds installed, I'll try that little suggestion and see where it leads but it'll have to wait till I install the game cuz its presently not on my machine. I strongly beleive that its the type of installation that I did that caused the problem but it'll all be clear next installation.
