hmm, im so tempted to drop one of my rigs into this little brouhaha...as soon as my camera line up again, im gonna do it

lol, Bl@ze, reppin the ski mask as usual, i was checking the window too ...cause boy..that c/card deh coulda really do with a relocation excersize..say...from his pc to..um..mine? Anyway, glad to see a new yute on the forum, welcome...oh, btw Bl@ze's original message was pretty on spot..matters not your power or whatever...proper management is essential...if u can spend over 100G's(rhatid car/school fee money!) on a pc then u can spend $60 on some cable management aids...and trust me, since ur an OC-er u want to handle your cables properly so as to get the correct airflow, thereby assisting your bid for lower temps...i notice u have a lot of fans...u really should try to map out some sort of air movement in your case, so as to get an idea of whats happening there now, and what can be improved, im almost guarantiing you lower idle temps if u get the air movement/cable management right...and that as u know..would give u more braggin power, since ud be able to OC more

    Welcome again

aww i wish i had pics to show yall but i sold my setup long ago
ok ill divulge the old specs

    sempron 64 2800+1.6ghz ocd to 2.8ghz aka 4600+ sempron 64
but realy it beat anything up to 4ghz and tie with any 4.2ghz ran right beside any 2.6ghz athlon with 1mb core and beside a fx57 in some apps that arent cache intencive but for more cache intencive the mhz mad up n brought it beside a a fx55 good enough for me considering it was a 75us proccessor

i used a polished copper cooler made for opterons nothing special

512mb of ddr 400 ecc mem i was gonna put in 1gb of ddr600cl2.5,3,3,6 mem to beat dual channel ddr500 but i sold it ages ago so makes no sence

i had a severly overclocked 6800gs cpu @ 540mhz and 1300mhz mem could compete with a stock 7800gt and beat it a few times

sata 2 wasnt out yet i had dual sata 150 120gb seagate hard drives on a raid 0 and 2 other hard drives (40gb each)

mother board was an abit nfoource 4 board with only jap made heatsyncs
    and an audigy 2 soundcard

my sound system is a caged boss 400watt car amp on 4 car speakers with tweeters in silver aiwa and audiovox boxes

im using a 21" crt monitor sporting 2048x1536 reso

cooling for case which was the big yellow one at intcomex modified by me to have 2 i dont know what size but the realy big case fans i think 120mm one that lighs up and a bunch of other stuff

a 500watt psu with 27a to the 12v line but this system is realy old now and im moving on to better things in life
but im sure it would match up to all your systems if not beat them at way less of the price and if u check in hard ware u will see my new project ill find pics of individual parts n show yall later

and yes i did say 2.8ghz and single channel 600cl2.5,3,3,6 will give better performance than dual channel ddr400 cl2,2,2,5 which i dont think u guys have

3D Mark 03...the 05 score would be 9,300.......you have a good machine...but your running every thing on stock speeds so that is holding back your score.......you need to learn how to overclock.....run stability test with sandra 2007...then benchmark 3 times and average your score....
