Chatroom Project v2 - online
On sunday I wrote a html chatroom in php. Similar to the one on wheelsjamaica except this one doesn't use a database backend. It's all in one file and is about 200 or so lines long. if you go there now there might not be anybody there to chat with, so you'll have to chat to you self. Test it out and tell me what you think. Freshes every 4 secs. Simple, no fancy stuff.
issues I already know about:
- you can steal other people's user names but that isn't big issue

I tried it. Not bad at all. Of course there are some missing features, but who am I to criticize it? I couldn't do anything close.

criticize it please. microsoft gets better, the more people report bugs.
bueaty is in the eyes of the beholder.
I was thinking about other features such as similies but I don't really want to add a whole lotta stuff that might make it all complicated.

Re:Chatroom Project v2 - online
fixed the last msg problem I was having. Now whenever some one goes to the chatroom instead of seeing a blank page they'll see the last 50 messages sent.

Re:Chatroom Project v2 - online
yow that chat room is pretty nice still.. wonder if you could intergrate it into an existing databases username/password.. specifically a forum's (invision board) .. and drop some smilies. If you do.. you have a product with at least one customer

yeah that should be easy to implement. I think they use md5 to encrypt their passwords.
