    Default ASROCK K8upgrade series motherboard

I have decided to build my first computer using Motherboard: ASROCK K8upgrade-VM800, Processor: Sempron 2800/64bit/754socket, and Memory: 512MB/DDR400.

Owing to the fact that I am new to buiding a computer I need a motherboard that is easy to setup and will allow me to practise and experiment with a multiple of configurations.

Can anyone tell me where I can get this motherboard to buy locally? I checked INCOMEX and they dont have any.

745 boards will be a lil tricky to find. Most places have 939 boards in stock. I recall seeing some Asrock boards in Royal Computers but can't recall the socket. I think its 939 though. YOu may have to take the onlien route with that one. Any reason why you have to use that specific model asrock and even the asrock brand?

I decided to use this ASRock motherboard because they cheap, easy to setup and configure.

This motherboard also has a Future CPU Port that allows you to upgrade your AMD 754-Pin CPU to AMD 939-Pin CPU by installing an add-on ASRock 939CPU Board into this Future CPU Port.

So I can experiment with the cheaper 754-pin Processors or do a lot of trial and error setup on this motherboard now and if all goes well I can always upgrade it to use the 939-Pin processors.

Nope. If you know anyone with an intcomex price list maybe they have it. I'm not sure.
