I am soooo frustrated and vexed with C&W right now and the POOR customer service that I completely ruined the dinner I was making. I was on hold from 7:10p.m. to 8:11 p.m. when i had to hang up to rescue the pot and save my ears weary from the frequent reminders to "continue to hold" and tedious music.
I just cant believe customer service could be this bad in a company that is pushing teleservices as a key plank of its business model. What is especially annoying is that they provide you with virtually no other way to get technical support -- u have to call the call centre. NOBODY responds to email sent to their OFFICIAL customer service email box and you get zero technical assistance at their business office. DISGRACEFUL!
The problem I was calling them about is this -- I signed up and paying for a 512MB adsl line however for more than a week there was a significant slow down in throughput and when i logged onto the router (speedtouch) I noticed the bandwidth was now halved to 256. Resetting the modem did not change anything and I have been trying to get technical support EVER SINCE. I verified that the throughput was indeed at 256 using their own speedtest
Where I am right now in MoBay I dont have an immediate matching alternative but the guys from flow were running their cable right outside my home last week so the option will come soon. Nuff said.
