You can do it with your Dyna IP. Just go to http://10.0.0.138 Click on advanced and then NAPT. Enter the inside and outside port as teh port you want forwarded, use 10.0.0.x with X being your local ip. (Do ipconfig /all at the prompt, to find it) And leave outside ip as 0.0.0.0. Then save that and save all in teh left menu. That should work.

For your port forwarding and triggering needs check: http://www.portforward.com

Most major residential routers and gateways are listed. They provide walkthroughs that guide you through setting up forwarding for your router's particular user interface. This is useful in a case like the 536 where there are two distinct user interfaces depending on the firmware in use.

That site is for routers, not modems, isn't it? Cause speedtouch modems aren't listed there, only routers.

The SpeedTouch devices are listed under Thomson-Alcatel.

I suppose if you wanted to get into semantics, the SpeedTouch 330 could be considered strictly a modem but all the other models are routers with an integrated modem. Even the single Ethernet port models like the 536 have routing capabilities built in. They can be configured to act like plain ADSL modems though.

Ohh, was looking for Speedtouch and totally missed the Thompson sub-heading.
    Thanks.

I tried portforward's method a year ago by setting up a Static ip. On CW adsl that issues Dynamic ip's it will works initially but when you reboot bam everything gets messed up and also it made me had to reset my modem to get my net working again. Anyone tried the static ip method successfully?
THe other method using NAPT in the speedtouch setup page works fine for me.
