    i want to know what age is best to start and what age is too late!

    i started around 14 15. the 3rd form days. i dunno if one can be too old to start learning. i'm sure your under 50. pick your starter language and get with it.

    thax man but it is not for me it's for a friend, who want me to teach him what i know. he wants to go into game programming
    but has never program before he's about 26 or something.

    qbasic and some other scripting languages.

    I think their is an upper limit to when one can start programming and get good
    at it.. and that age is 30. Unless your friend has no social life and spends 4+hrs
    infront of the pc idling on a regular basis

    neva started since i was 16 in fifth form

    started with Qbasic and **** - lol man those were the days

    I know one or two 30 year olds who are starting highly tech stuff, and have the ability to learn and do well, including myself, 30 and just beginning to be technologically superior.

    The upper limit is based on the drive that is within the person to learn, and next comes his mental capacity to learn, and I am sure he is not a fool .

    I started programming at around 22, and became a bad *** by 24, and a real stinker by 25. Unfortunately, I did not pratice the trade so much after that and became more worthless, but I am getting more practice nowadays and willing to get more. The practice is all I need to be on cutting edge, and age is not so much of a factor for me cause I am downloading and learning more MS stuff by the day even though I doing flash as well and couple other things.
