Default Remote Assistance Feature in Windows XP

I would like to know if anybody has ever used the Remote Assistance feature that is provided by windows xp?
What do you know about it?
Does it have any limitations, meaning "Can i connect and control the desktop of another machine that is on the internet, but does not have its own iinternet ip address"?

I would like to know what u know about it...
Knowledge is of two kinds. We know a subject ourselves, or we know where we can find information on it.!!!

The easiest way to control a PC over the net is Via VNC or logmein

Some ppl have had problems trying to get the Remote assistance to actually work, but when it work it Sometimes freezes.

Logmein is awesome as you use your webrowser

VNC looks like a nice program. I'm gonna use that one.

    Thanx

I use VNC. It is a pretty nice program. Feel like you're right at the computer when you are using it. Nice little program. Haven't had any trouble from the client end of it.

Used VNC and Remote Desktop and they both work ok. Never had the problem with both of them.
