I dun think so cuz when i played on my
Amd 850mhz
256md sdram
128mb video card

with gprs
It ran faster than on the dell 2400(on dsl)

Couldn't get over 25 on my system(gprs), I think cpu and memory plays the major part and prolly video memory.
I dun think connection matters once the game starts running.

My new score is 35.7**(on the dell 2400 using dsl)
