CXC Vs IT Certifications
Do you think it would be more profitable to offer IT certifications in High Schools namely, A+ and Microsoft Office Specialist as opposed to standard CXC Computer studies?

Re:CXC Vs IT Certifications
depends on target...
I've found that workplaces who are looking for managers and supervisors tend to go after school education because of the assumption that the idividual is exposed to wider body of knowledge.. whereas employers loking for role players/work horses go for certifications...
for the same reason I'd always say school over certification.. get certified AFTER school or if you can't afford school..
Now because of the HUGE demarcation between a certification exam like A+ and a general knowledge exam like CXC I'd say the only way offering certs would be viable for a school is as an extra class.
-= my 2 cents =-
