Well im one of those ppl who just ignore everyone else who blaze on Symantec and use it anyway cuz it served me well, but after a recent format, i couldnt find me disc so i decided to try the full version of AVG which i acquired somewhere... So far its serving me well, but honestly i dont really have any virus probs anyway so its fine, duznt really matter to me once it works..its a bit annoying though until u create all the rules for all the applications that need clearance, but i guess its comprehensive. Check it out.

Thanx for the advice...and please do not get me wrong, i am not going to be unfair and say symantec have not done wonders for me, indeed it has, but there is nothing i can do on my machine while it is activated and i deal with heavy graphics.

From the days when Leo Laporte recommended it on Call For Help years ago, I haven't looked back since. Does the job for me without being a memory hog or taxing my system.
