How do I turn off lights on "CPU"

My PC is ridiclously load. But my speakers are always blazing so it doesn't really bother me but I know notice that the sucker roars like a hurricane at times. It's loader than the CD drive spinning up to backside

I wish I could convert all that wasted energy into something more suitable.

just curious . is the fan(s) hdd(s) making the noise or what ?

I think is the fan... cos my HDD not that loud...but the chipset fan is loud! I soon replace it with this cute blue led one from newegg.
