Re:Significant Avatar?
*the x-man lazily steps up to the podium...(mic check)*
Ancient Egyptians were noted mostly for their uncannily precise enginuity (hint, hint). They were the world's first real scientists & engineers - employing profound mathematical precision to the development of their cities - precision so acute, that scientists today can't help but be baffled, as they can only achieve this level of precision using computers.
They put into practice mathematical theorems that were discovered later by the Greeks and then modern mathematicians. In fact, many believe that Greek philosophers acquired their mathematical genius from ancient egyptians. In case you didn't know, the great Greek mathematician Pythagoras was directly influenced by the egyptian's brilliance with mathematics. Pythagoras' theorem is said to be directly ripped from the egyptian's secret for building the pyramids...
Many of the base theorems we use today in applied engineering mathematics that were labelled as coming from the greeks, were actually invented by the egyptians - It's just that documentation on egyptian technology was never captured in a form that could resist time, unlike the greeks. Egyptians captured their documentation in scrolls and on their walls (both of which either crumbled with age or were assimilated in the sands of time). Grecian documentation was largely sealed in stone tombs.
They were also very close to black people in terms of ethnicity (hint, hint!!). Back then, you probably wouldn't have been able to tell the difference between them and black people today (hint, hint!!). Funny how many believe today that Egyptians were white (brainwashed from watching too many old Hollywood renditions of bible stories). :
If you are one of such people - you should be ashamed of yourselves. Egyptians were more brilliant black scientists / engineers (HINT, HINT!!) than pathetic white actors.
Ok. On with the avatar discussion...
