    Default Brainbench: Linux Administrator

I just did the Brainbench Linux Administrator online test.

    My results

You had a total score of 2.35. Unfortunately, this is below the minimum passing score of 2.75 necessary to achieve a certification.

Scored higher than 38 percent** of all previous test takers.

Demonstrates an understanding of the fundamental concepts involved with this topic. Knowledge level appears equivalent to that gained through introductory courses. May require supplemental training and close supervision to develop a working knowledge level to be able to perform assignments independently.

    Strengths Kernel Configuration and Installation
    Networking

    Weak Areas
    Configuration and Administration
    Installation
    System Administration and Security

    Sub-Category Scores
    Conceptual 2.0
    Problem-Solving 2.0

    The scoring is from 1-5

I did a search at brainbench and only found two results for people who have taken the brainbench linux (general) adminstration exams.

Anybody else brainbench linux (general) administrator certified?
It's a very good exam and considering the cost (free), I don't know why more people haven't taken it.

    Gillion,
Trust me... I have to rate anybody who passes that brainbench exam it's as difficult as the LPI.
If (unlike me) you did it off the top of your head (read, didn't study) then even bigger props.
